Chiang Speaks About Appointment of Yin Wei 殷瑋任市政顧問引發疑問 蔣萬安作回應

Taipei City Mayor Chiang Wan-an presided over his first municipal administration meeting on Dec. 27. He has appointed Yin Wei, a former Presidential Office spokesperson under Ma Ying-jeou, as a municipal advisor, and had this to say to detractors. 

Chiang Wan-an, Mayor, Taipei City: “We specially asked (Chen) Kuo-jun and Yin Wei to serve as municipal advisors, mainly because they have valuable advice to give us from their experience at the central and local government levels as well as in the private sector. This way, our municipal administration can be pushed forward smoothly.”

Chiang also said the topics discussed during the municipal meeting on Dec. 26 included the New Year's Eve celebration, the Lunar New Year, and the Lantern Festival, as well as traffic controls for the New Year Eve's celebration, trash collection, and the rise in COVID-19 cases in recent days. He has asked relevant departments to make the necessary plans.

台北市長蔣萬安說：「市府顧問我們特別找（陳）國君，還有殷瑋，主要是借重他們過去在中央和地方的經驗，以及在民間的歷練，能夠給予市府寶貴的意見，讓我們的市政能夠推動非常順暢。」

蔣萬安也談及26日晨會的討論內容及結論，主要討論到接下來的跨年活動、農曆春節以及燈會，跨年包括交通人流動線規劃、整體垃圾清運以及這幾天確診數上升，都會要求相關單位妥適計畫。
