Yilan's Wuyan Cape Offers Stunning Coastal Scenery|探訪宜蘭烏岩角 飽覽海岬地形美景

People wear life jackets as they carry oars and head out into the sea. Their destination is Wuyan Cape in Yilan County.

Wuyan Cape is a peninsula, and is located at the boundary between Suao Township and Nanfangao. This location is regarded as the starting point to cross the Central Mountain Range. The area has unique coastal landforms. Suao Township's chief has recommendations for what to see and do here.

The entire itinerary takes about three hours. You can row from here all the way to Wuyan Cape in Dongao Bay, and then go ashore to view the sea from the land. The scenery is completely different than viewing the land from the sea.

It's not easy to get to this point. Some tourists arrive via mountain road, while others arrive by water. It is highly recommendable to explore this tranquil cape by paddling. However, before entering the water, there are some things to keep in mind to remain safe in the water.

Move the paddle forward and then lift it, before putting it back in the water. Don't scoop backwards, because you will create a splash and drench the face of the person behind you.

Although reaching the cape via water requires some physical effort, those who paddled their way to the cape all say the aches and pains are completely worth it because of the beautiful scenery.

宜蘭祕境烏岩角就位在蘇澳和南方澳的交接處，這裡號稱越過中央山脈的起點，在這裡可以看到得天獨厚的海岬地形，蘇澳鎮長親自推薦。

蘇澳鎮長 李明哲表示：「整個行程大概會有3個小時，從這裡一直划到東澳灣的烏岩角，從陸上看海邊，跟從海上看陸上是完全不一樣的風景。」

不過其實要抵達這個景點不簡單，有遊客會走山路，現在大推水路，划立槳來探索這個藍色祕境，立槳怎麼划才安全，所以下水前訓練很重要。

教練 陳建文：「往前提起來之後再插下去，不要往後挖，往後挖的時候，你會噴水花，把後面的人噴到，噴到臉。」

雖然划立槳過來，需要耗費不少體力，但遊客都說看到這美景再累都值得。
